I enjoyed this book and the series on HBO, the twist ending is so good! Gillian Flynn does a great job of capturing attention and making you want to continue reading until you've read the whole book in a day. I enjoy a good psychological thriller, and this book definitely satisfies that.

This was another one I read after I heard it was a HBO series. Camille has to return to her home town as a reporter, to investigate a missing teenage girl. Through the book she starts to reveal her own demons from when she was a teen. Her mom tries to hide all the troubles behind a smile and a perfect life, while Camille is worried her younger half-sister may be next to disappear.
There's just a little bit of romance between Camille and the police officer she is working with, and throughout the book we see more glimpses into why Camille has been cutting herself since she was a teen. The ending has such a good twist, I guessed everyone else was the killer EXCEPT the one person who it was. I recommend reading the book before watching the show, so you don't ruin the twist, but I guess that just depends on which one you want to be surprised in.
