Thanks to Netgalley and Hayley Kiyoko for this incredible ARC. I really liked the song before, but the book just adds that much more depth to the words.

A very cool coming of age story set in the time when I was in high school. All of the references to LiveJournal really brought me back, I had one as well. As someone who struggled as a teenager to come out as bisexual, I related to Sonya and Coley so much.

Friendships that you've had most of your life, can be torn down when they find out your truth. This book doesn't try to sugar coat the fact that being who you are may lead to losing some people who have been in your life for a long time.

I also love that she used the name Coley, it's not a name you see very often (It's also my moms maiden name which is kinda cool). This novel is really fun, a great read and I would recommend to anyone who loves YA and romance. Hayley Kiyoko deserves props for this one, I hope to read more from her in the future. Going singer to writer is magnificent.
