**SPOILERS BELOW... IF YOU HAVNT READ STOP HERE**
Girl A is beautifully written, and at times tragic. It starts a little slow but once you get into what's going on, it gets really good. Abigail Dean has a way of expressing tragedy in a way that really draws you in to the characters. Looking forward to reading her other books.

Lex grew up with demons in her childhood home, her father being the demon. She is called Girl A because she was the one who escaped her past, and saved her siblings. When her mother dies in prison, Lex is forced to go back home to settle the old house and her families affairs. As she tries to decide what to do with the house, along with her younger sister Evie, the siblings must come to terms with how they grew up, and try to work together to make the home into something better.
I really loved this book from a psychology stand point, the synopsis got my attention right away. I love a book with a good lesson and a great ending. At times it gets hard to read because of the awful things the children went through, but it really made me stop and think how many children actually live like this in the real world? It made me want to work with kids even more when I get my degree. Great job to Abigail Dean, I read a few reviews that said the DNF this book, and I do not know how. I wanted to know the ending.
